Abalone® brings the classic abstract ball board game to mobile as a standalone Android app. On the hexagonal board, two players with 14 balls each face off. Whoever pushes six opposing balls over the edge of the board wins.
Foresight instead of luck
On each turn, you can move a single ball or a row of several of your own balls. When the rows of both players touch, the side with more balls can push opposing balls away. This creates tactical battles over the center of the board, defensive lines and dangerous edge positions. Attacks need careful preparation: whoever advances too far can lose a row themselves. The mobile version offers an interface tailored to touch controls and customizable display of balls and board.

This version of the official Abalone game is distributed by Plug In Digital and was released for Android in May 2025. It is to be distinguished from the older 2014 Windows PC edition; on Google Play Store it is available under its own Android package and is rated for all ages.
