Conquest of Elysium 3 was released on May 27, 2014 as a standalone Android tablet version of the turn-based fantasy strategy game by Illwinter Game Design. Instead of starting with a fixed army, you choose one of the very different factions: Necromancers summon undead, Druids gather magical herbs in forests, and Dwarven kingdoms must secure their mines. On randomly generated maps, you conquer locations, deploy troops and try to defeat your rivals.
Complex turn-based strategy on tablet
The mobile port transferred the economy, summonings, automatic battles and the asymmetric classes of the PC original to a touchscreen. The developers recommended a larger tablet rather than a small smartphone for controls. Even local hotseat matches were possible on one device. A PC Steam license does not unlock this Android app, which was once sold separately.
Android version no longer available
Illwinter now explicitly states that the app was removed from the Google Play Store due to missing adaptations to modern Android versions. It can no longer be purchased there.
