Cube Life: Island Survival for Android brings Cypronia’s island sandbox to smartphone and tablet. After a shipwreck you search for food, gather wood and stone, craft tools and build a safe shelter. The large block world is full of wild animals, mysterious caves and dangerous islanders. You can explore new places during the day; at night you should be ready for hostile cannibals.
Survive or create freely
In survival mode you have to get by with the resources you gather, craft new items and weapons, and gradually explore the island. More than 500 tools, building and decoration items, boats, pets and boss fights keep things varied. Creative mode allows free building in a block world; the map and skin editor adds your own creations. The Android version is designed for touch controls and, according to Google Play, offers an offline mode.
Standalone Android app
The mobile version was originally released on Aug 8, 2018 and is still available as a separate app from Cypronia on Google Play. Unlike the Steam version, which is bought once, the Android app is offered free to install; Google Play marks it with ads and in-app purchases. That does not automatically mean extra payments are needed for survival mode. An Android download is not a Steam or console license.
