Medieval Battlefields is called Mittelalter-Schlacht on the German Google Play Store. In this native Android version of the Cateia strategy game, you lead knights, archers, Vikings and siege units through turn-based battles in a medieval setting. Here, the right positioning of your units and skilful use of reinforcements matter more than speed.

Castles, campaigns and hotseat

Game mechanics include 27 troop types or upgrade levels, the defense and improvement of castles, and various single-player campaigns and battle scenarios. If you want to play with friends, the Android app offers hotseat mode: players take turns on the same smartphone or tablet. The developer also promotes the option to play fully offline.

Mobile purchase model

The Android download initially offers a free trial. The full content is unlocked with a one-time purchase within the app. Unlike the PC version, the mobile app is therefore not activated with a Steam key.
