Abyss: The Wraiths of Eden – the underwater adventure for iPhone and iPad
In Abyss: The Wraiths of Eden, you search as the fiancée of the missing diver Robert Marceau for traces in a sunken city. Deep below the sea surface, you come across the abandoned Eden, whose elegant Art Deco architecture hides eerie secrets. Supernatural forces follow you as you investigate what happened to the city’s inhabitants.
Hidden objects, mini-games and clue hunting
The mobile point-and-click adventure by Artifex Mundi combines exploring around 40 hand-drawn locations with hidden object tasks, inventory puzzles and 22 mini-games. Underwater creatures and mysterious symbols accompany your search. Three difficulty levels allow different ways of playing. The historical iPhone/iPad release by G5 Entertainment was adapted for touch controls and offered numerous on-screen languages, including German.
Historical App Store version
The initial iOS release came out on January 10, 2013 as a free trial with paid unlock of the full adventure. There was also a separately paid full version and an iPad HD variant of the same story, not new standalone games or DLCs. The original apps are no longer regularly available on the Apple App Store. This entry therefore describes a historical native iOS version; it is not a current purchase offer or a PC/console key. The linked official Artifex Mundi video shows the shared game, not a purpose-made iOS launch video.
