Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted – Horror in the Animatronic Workshop
Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted combines well-known scenes from the earlier FNaF games with new minigames. Set around Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza, you monitor security cameras at night, repair animatronics that suddenly come to life and crawl through narrow vents. Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, Foxy and other characters lurk behind doors and in dark rooms. The horror comes from close observation, tight reaction times and unexpected jump scares.
Mini-games instead of a continuous campaign
You switch between security offices, maintenance jobs, repairs and other tasks. Some mini-games reinterpret FNaF 1 to 4 and Sister Location, others were developed for Help Wanted. Upon successful completion you collect Faz-Tokens and rewards at the Prize Counter. It is played alone; a multiplayer mode is not included.
Curse of Dreadbear and the platform versions
The Halloween expansion Curse of Dreadbear includes its own theme area with new minigames and animatronics. It is sold separately on PC, PS4, Switch and Meta Quest; on PlayStation 5 it is part of the Full Time Edition of the base game. The Xbox One version does not offer a standalone DLC in the Microsoft Store. The platform versions also differ in VR support, controls and release date.
Historical iOS version
Steel Wool Studios released a standalone touchscreen version for iPhone and iPad on Oct 26, 2020. The mobile version dropped VR hardware and offered a selection of minigames adapted for smartphone controls. The original app was later removed from the Apple App Store and is currently no longer available there. This historical platform entry is therefore not shown as a currently purchasable iOS version.
