The Quest – Islands of Ice and Fire expands the mobile HD version of the fantasy RPG with two contrasting islands. In icy Thule and fiery Eldfell, a dangerous disease is spreading. King Mersant tasks you with discovering the cause of the plague and protecting the residents.
Additional adventure
The expansion includes new areas, dungeons, enemies, equipment and quests. Crossbows expand your weapon arsenal; an already experienced character from around level 14 is recommended. Movement and combat remain grid-based and turn-based.
Standalone app and integration
The expansion app can be launched separately or activated in the modern The Quest. To do so, you travel to Islands of Ice and Fire with Captain Hanty at Mithrias Harbor. The older The Quest Classic version and its expansions are technically different and not equivalent to this HD expansion.
