AVICII Invector brings the music of Swedish DJ Tim Bergling to Meta Quest as a standalone VR version. You move through glowing, three-dimensional music tracks and hit rhythm inputs on the controllers in time. The songs take center stage: from catchy beats to quick direction changes, precise timing decides your score.

35 songs in the Quest version

The Quest version released on Jan 27, 2022 already includes the content of the so-called Encore Edition: 35 songs, including Wake Me Up, Freak and SOS, spread across seven musical worlds. Four difficulty levels and global leaderboards let you replay the tracks and improve your rhythm.

VR instead of split screen

Unlike the original PC and console version, the Meta Quest edition is designed for single-player in VR. It supports playing seated or standing with the Quest controllers and, according to Meta, needs about 1.56 GB of storage. The official store version runs on compatible devices in the Quest 2, Quest Pro and Quest 3 families. A PC Steam key or a PlayStation code cannot unlock this standalone Quest app.

What’s included?

On Meta Quest there is no separate standard edition to combine with two additional track packs: the version offered there already includes the original game plus the ten additional songs from the TIM and Magma packs. These two DLCs are sold separately on PC, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
