In de Blob 2 for Nintendo DS you must save Prisma City from the grey rule of INKT Corporation. The handheld version is its own jump’n’run developed by Halfbrick Studios, with puzzles and colour-based tasks. It plays differently from the three-dimensional versions for Wii, PlayStation and Xbox.

Colour puzzles across two screens

Blob moves through side-scrolling levels, jumps over chasms and uses ramps and catapults to reach new areas. The right colour is often crucial: only matching shades can solve certain puzzles and defeat enemies. Along the way, you free the colourless residents of Prisma City and collect hidden items. Dr. von Klecks and the mutated monsters from his lab provide extra challenges.
