Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars on Nintendo DS
Huang Lee travels to Liberty City to deliver a valuable family sword to his uncle Kenny. After a robbery, he finds himself in the middle of a power struggle between the Triads. In GTA: Chinatown Wars, you explore the big city from a slanted top-down view, complete story missions, get into car chases with the police and make money through risky business deals.
The touchscreen is part of the gameplay
The version originally developed for Nintendo DS makes deliberate use of both screens: you pick car locks, defuse bombs, search containers and play various minigames with the stylus. An open city with a day-night cycle, side activities, vehicles and missions makes this handheld spin-off a standalone GTA adventure. In Germany, the game was released on Mar 20, 2009. The earlier Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection was shut down in 2014; its online features are no longer available.
