Cycle 28 is a fast-paced arcade shoot ’em up for Nintendo Switch. As pilot Olivia Bergen, you are trapped in a puzzling time loop and keep fighting overpowering enemy spaceships. In the short space battles, it’s all about dodging bullets, precisely taking out your enemies and reaching your next high score.
Arcade action for the handheld
Each round lasts only a few minutes. Your ship can glide through the battlefield with momentum; the recoil of your weapons changes trajectory and speed. Anyone who beats a personal record unlocks new upgrades and can choose from 45 possible ship configurations. Large boss battles and ever denser bullet hails demand quick reactions, while hidden clues advance the story of the time-loop pilot.
Native Switch version
Pill Bug Interactive released the game for Nintendo Switch on Aug 2, 2018. According to Nintendo, it supports TV, tabletop and handheld mode, the Pro Controller and one person on the device. The eShop version has English on-screen text and carries the USK 6 age rating in Germany. Switch 2 can run Switch software backward compatibly, but a separate native Switch 2 version is not implied by this. The separately sold Steam soundtrack is not Nintendo Switch DLC.
