Hyperspace Neptunia: Unlimited is a new main entry in Compile Heart’s Japanese RPG series Neptunia. The goddess Neptune witnesses the impact of a massive asteroid and, after the fall of Gamindustri, is left alone in a white void. A mysterious voice and a number on her cheek give her the chance to avert the catastrophe through another attempt. Neptune, Noire, Blanc and Vert encounter new allies as well as enemies.
Flight, combat and world bosses
The goddesses move seamlessly between running and flying for the first time. In the larger, three-dimensional dungeons, you can explore rooftops, waterways and other hard-to-reach areas from the air. In battles, the game relies on goddess transformations, aerial attacks, reworked combos and new EXE Drive animations. Particularly large boss enemies require using different abilities.
Customize characters and expand abilities
Alongside the return of familiar Neptunia characters, the game introduces new goddesses, including Rouge, Ciel, Anna and Lotte. Characters’ colors and accessories can be customized, and found Processor Units boost your equipment. Using the familiar Disc Make system, you unlock additional abilities. Producer Hikaru Yasui and illustrator Tsunako are back working on the main series.
Dedicated version for Nintendo Switch
The original Nintendo Switch gets a separate Western version in 2027, digitally announced. It is explicitly planned alongside the separate Nintendo Switch 2 version, not merely covered by backward compatibility. The publisher names English text and voice acting in English or Japanese. An exact European launch date and a confirmed regional eShop product ID are still pending. The Japanese console version has been on the market since August 2026.
