Tortuga invites players of Infinite Minigolf to a colorful pirate town in the Caribbean. Amid seafaring props, harbor facilities and all sorts of crazy obstacles, the aim is to get the ball into the hole as skillfully as possible. Characters such as Captain Salvador accompany the new competitions. The package is free but requires the base game.
Four pirate tournaments and new editor objects
The expansion adds 108 holes across four tournaments. Additional pirate-inspired tiles and items are available in the course editor for custom, shareable courses. Unlockable avatar items expand personalization. Tortuga is a genuine in-game expansion, not a commercial edition with a base license.
Separate Nintendo Switch download
The Nintendo eShop explicitly lists the free package as additional content for Infinite Minigolf. The base game must be present. The new courses and editor components add to the existing Switch version; a native Switch 2 version of the DLC is not confirmed.
