Kona takes you to the icy north of Québec in 1970. Private investigator Carl Faubert is asked by businessman W. Hamilton to investigate acts of vandalism, but at Lake Atâmipêk he finds an empty village and an unnatural snowstorm. The job turns into a puzzling search for the vanished residents.
Search for clues and survive the winter
You search abandoned houses, read letters and documents, explore forest paths and connect the clues you find. Your map and a vehicle help you find your way around the vast landscape. At the same time, cold, wild animals and eerie events threaten your survival. Campfires and shelters are just as important as solving the case.
An atmospheric first-person thriller
An omniscient narrator accompanies Carl’s investigation. Instead of constant fighting, the focus is on exploring a wintry small town, solving puzzles and the story. The music by Québec group CuréLabel adds to the atmosphere. Kona was developed by Parabole and is the first part of the series, continued with Kona II: Brume.
