With Ski Jumping World Cup, you can practise the correct flight posture for ski jumping on your Nintendo Switch, even on the go. At winter sports venues around the world, a good take-off, reliable control in the air and a clean landing are what count. Changing wind speeds and dynamic weather conditions change the difficulty of every round.
The sports game takes you from the tutorial through training jumps to the World Cup. There you compete on different hills, can put together your own tournament and chase personal bests. The official Switch edition includes 18 ski jumps, five of them lit locations with a night mode. In addition, there are solo competitions, online duels and local hot-seat rounds where several people play one after another.
The Nintendo Switch version supports TV, tabletop and handheld modes. Nintendo lists one to eight players on one console and two to twenty players online on its product page. Nintendo Switch Online is required for online play. A dedicated Switch 2 game has not been announced: according to Nintendo, the version can be played on Switch 2 via backward compatibility, but it remains a standalone Switch 1 product.
