ASTERIS is an action roguelite from ARCENCIEL that combines fast combat with the group play of an online RPG. You can hunt monsters alone or form a group of up to four players. As you develop new skill combinations in each run, your equipment and permanent upgrades are kept between runs.
Four classes and versatile skills
Four heroes to choose from: the Dark Slayer relies on fast sword attacks, the Vanguard fights up close and protects the group, the Windrunner uses bow and wind magic, while Aether supports the team with protective and healing abilities. Runes can change attack patterns, such as turning a sword slash into a charging attack. 33 active skills and more than 50 passive effects allow very different builds.
Cooperative boss fights and divine transformations
In online co-op, classic group roles matter: tanks keep enemies busy, damage classes exploit vulnerable phases and healers keep the team alive. Six bosses await in the Asterian Deep raid dungeon. During fights, you collect divine fragments to temporarily take on the form of one of five deities. If several group members coordinate their special attacks, they can trigger additional synergy effects.
Long-term progress despite new runs
Unlike purely random roguelites, your character doesn’t lose all upgrades after a run. You upgrade loot and equipment, unlock more options and can trade items on an in-game market. The first full Steam release on November 5, 2026 offers single-player, online co-op for up to four players and five regular chapters.
German PC version
ASTERIS is available for Windows PC. The Steam store lists 13 interface languages and subtitles, including German; an English voice track is included. Steam lists 8 GB RAM and a GTX 1060 or RX 580 as the minimum requirement. 16 GB RAM and an RTX 3060 or RX 6600 XT are recommended.
