Chicken Invaders Collection: Five space adventures in one game

In the Chicken Invaders Collection, humanity once again faces an alien chicken invasion. Flying a small spaceship, you fly through dense enemy formations, dodge projectiles, collect weapon upgrades and take apart huge final bosses. The new collection from BETACOM and InterAction Studios brings the five main adventures together for the first time in a standalone, modernized game environment.

From the first attack to Cluck of the Dark Side

Included are The Saga Begins, The Next Wave, Revenge of the Yolk, Ultimate Omelette and Cluck of the Dark Side. Each chapter continues the quirky science fiction story: at times Earth is to be covered in a giant omelette, at others sinister space plans threaten to wipe out the sun. The familiar enemy waves and arcade boss battles remain the heart of the series.

New technology and co-op play

The collection uses a modernized engine, revised weapon balance and a 16:9 display adjusted individually, with resolutions up to 4K. Four customizable spaceship models and shared progress management extend the classic gameplay feel. You can play alone, two players on one device, or online with up to eight people. Xbox Play Anywhere and cross-platform multiplayer connect Windows PCs with the supported Xbox consoles.

PC version on the Microsoft Store

The full Windows version launches on Nov 6, 2026 on the Microsoft Store and is part of the Xbox Play Anywhere product. The developer lists Windows 10 and 11 as supported operating systems. The earlier Steam playtest version was a time-limited beta and is not offered as a separate regular Steam release of this collection. Likewise, the Steam package Chicken Invaders Complete Set is merely a bundle of individual episodes and should not be confused with this collection.
