Corpus et Spiritus: Alchemy against a deadly pact

In Corpus et Spiritus you try to break a fateful contract with a homunculus. The creature promises you knowledge of alchemy and the Philosopher’s Stone, but demands part of your life force in return. The game combines deckbuilding with a workshop full of experiments. There are no classic battles. Instead, you decide your success with recipes, cards and the right use of your resources.

Transform metals and craft cards

You collect rare metals and use them at the workbench to create new cards and magical talismans. Which metals you combine affects your options. New recipes and unlocked stations expand your choices, but not every investment brings you closer to your goal. The seven card families for body, mind and soul offer different playstyles and can build on each other in powerful combinations.

The homunculus offers power at the cost of your health

Your demonic partner offers you deals that can make your next run easier. In return, you risk values such as health, sanity or stamina. You have to judge when to accept a benefit and when the sacrifice becomes too great. These decisions make every run a new challenge. The goal is not to defeat as many enemies as possible, but to develop your own alchemy cleverly enough to escape the pact.

Roguelite progression with its own rules

Before each new attempt, you put together your pact from benefits and restrictions. As you progress, you gain access to additional workshop stations and special cards. This changes the available strategies across several runs. The mix of plannable decisions and controlled chance is aimed at fans of demanding deckbuilders and tactical resource games.
