Your keyboard is the weapon
Dead Keys combines fast-paced zombie action with typing practice. In the pixel-art apocalypse, your character fires by typing words and sentences as quickly and accurately as possible. Every correct letter drives your attacks forward, while typos cost valuable time. Your personal rhythm decides how long you can hold out against the next wave of the undead.
Roguelite, endless mode and co-op
In classic mode, you defend a barricade across 50 waves. Five survivors bring different abilities; upgrades and random improvements shape each attempt. Every ten waves, a particularly dangerous enemy appears. Between runs, you can unlock equipment and starting bonuses.
Endless mode focuses on continuous typing, word speed and accuracy. The daily challenge gives all participants the same starting conditions. A short campaign is also announced, but it should not be assumed to be content you have already played before the actual release. Steam lists both online and LAN co-op as well as a competitive two-player mode.
Windows game with German interface
Developer and publisher Banana Peel Dev. plans the PC launch for Oct 30, 2026. According to Steam, the game supports 14 on-screen languages, including German. All combat controls are designed around typing on the keyboard. The demo available separately is a trial and not a standalone full version.
