One restaurant, 30 days and one million dollars
In DEADLINE DINNER, you take over a branch of the Hayano Restaurant Group and receive an almost impossible goal from headquarters: within 30 days, your restaurant must generate one million US dollars in sales. Otherwise, closure looms – and your job is gone. The pixelated strategy game combines restaurant management with randomly assembled roguelite runs.
Menu, staff and clever combinations
Choose dishes for your menu, hire chefs, improve recipes and invest in extra capacity. Each attempt gives you different kitchen staff, dishes and management items. This creates different strategies: cheap food in large quantities or high-priced menus with greater profit per guest. Especially strong effects come from combinations of recipes, staff and upgrades.
Settled every ten days
On day 10 and day 20, the shareholders review sales and reputation of your branch. Decisions made during a run can lead to different endings. Only those who run the restaurant successfully until day 30 reach the required sales target. DEADLINE DINNER has been released as a single-player game for Windows and, according to Steam, offers English and simplified Chinese on-screen text; a German translation is not listed so far.
