Fairground Online – Operate fairground rides yourself
At a fairground the big attractions rarely stand still – but how exactly are rides controlled, lighting adjusted and operations coordinated? Fairground Online gives you control over virtual rides. Instead of only building an amusement park from a distance, you can sit at the controls of the machines, follow their operation and experience the atmosphere of a modern funfair.
The rides have varied movement sequences and detailed control options. Especially in the evening, it all depends on the interplay of colored lights, music and the rotating attractions. Changing times of day and weather effects alter the mood on the grounds. Through a shared online space you can also meet other fairground fans, look at machines and spend time together on the virtual fairground. Steam Workshop integration enables additional community-made content.
What sets Fairground Online apart from classic theme park simulations?
While games like Planet Coaster put more emphasis on building and the economic design of a park, Fairground Online focuses on operating and experiencing individual fairground rides. Control panels, lighting, ride movements and encounters with other players are the focus. If you want detailed ride simulations rather than a pure management game, you’ll find a different focus here.
PC key, versions and DLC
CoasterGalaxyWorld released the Windows PC version on Jan 16, 2026 on Steam. German and English are listed as on-screen languages. Besides single player, there are online multiplayer features. A standalone native PlayStation, Xbox or Nintendo version is not confirmed; such platform keys should therefore not be inferred from a possible streaming or compatibility listing.
