The Fossil Hunters Original Soundtrack by Robby Duguay is the separately available music DLC for the fossil adventure from Reptoid Games. The release contains the game’s orchestral background music, but no new dig sites, playable characters or additional missions. The Steam page lists the music as additional content that requires the base game.
Orchestral and piano recordings
The soundtrack includes twelve tracks, including themes for the dig site, the laboratory and other underground areas, as well as piano versions of selected melodies. Robby Duguay composed and produced the music. Trevor Alan Gomes handled arrangement, orchestration and piano parts, and Doug Perry contributed percussion. The Budapest Scoring Symphonic Orchestra performed on the orchestral recordings.
Steam soundtrack and edition
The DLC was released on Steam for PC on Feb 14, 2018. The later album release on music platforms on June 25, 2018 is a different distribution step and not the original Steam release date. The Fossil Hunters Soundtrack Edition bundle combines the base game and this DLC; it is not a standalone new game version.
