Fragmentary Order: Tactical combat on Mars

In Fragmentary Order, an uncompromising multiplayer shooter takes you into the solar system in the year 2251. After an era under the control of the powerful CORE system, new power blocs have formed. The conflicts are not fought by humans alone: as an independent contractor, you remotely pilot so-called RepEnts, artificially created combat bodies, into dangerous battle zones.

Preparation, reconnaissance and survival

Missions take place on expansive maps such as the partly terraformed Martian region Blue Mars. You put together your equipment, plan your route and explore abandoned industrial complexes, outposts and open terrain. Weapons, equipment, loot and losses have consequences for your next mission. The focus is on credible firefights, positional play and high-risk decisions rather than fast arcade duels.

Drones, vehicles and small teams

The gameplay presented in November 2026 shows firefights from a first-person perspective, exploration in changing weather conditions and the use of reconnaissance drones. Up to four players can, according to the developer, advance together. Sensors, vehicles and modern combat tech open up tactical options without removing danger entirely. Remote control of the RepEnt bodies is part of the game world and explains how new missions are possible after losses.

Release and access model

Rant Gaming Studios is developing the game for PC. A regular release date and the final system requirements are not yet set. Through its official website, the developer offers the paid Prime Batch program for closed alpha tests. Taking part in this test is neither an already released full version nor a confirmed regular Steam key. Information on later sales formats will only be added with official announcements.
