Frogging Up is a deliberately difficult dexterity game about a small frog in a yellow raincoat. He wants to escape his swampy village and has to keep working his way up across pipes, floating platforms and the ruins of a surreal world. Every successful jump brings him closer to his goal, but a single mistake can wipe out hard-won progress.
Easy to control, hard to master
You steer the direction of the jump with the camera, and its force with the length of the button press. Because of the physics-based movement, it is crucial to judge distance and timing correctly. By default, there are no checkpoints. A narrator comments on your attempts and can be encouraging or mocking. The path from the muddy home to the towers on high ground also represents the frog’s desire for a better life.
The PC version
Frogging Up has been available for Windows PCs via the Microsoft Store as part of the Xbox Play Anywhere offer since Jul 8, 2026. An additional Steam release is announced for Q4 2026; until then, the game is only on the wishlist there. The Steam version lists a Ryzen 5 1600, 8 GB RAM and a GeForce GTX 1050 Ti as minimum requirements. The interface is in English, and you play with keyboard or controller only.
