Ghosts of Tabor: LEGACY – back to the 2024 VR raids
Ghosts of Tabor: LEGACY is a standalone version of the VR extraction shooter that preserves the technical and gameplay state of 2024. Instead of unlocking only cosmetic content for the current main game, you play a separate build with its own servers, its own player base and its own statistics. The developers keep this version working without adding new maps or larger game systems in the future.
The old maps and mechanics
LEGACY includes the original Island of Tabor, Missile Silo and Matka Miest, as well as the Hex Bunker. The physical arrangement of items in the backpack, the earlier AI, the damage model of the time and melee takedowns are part of the time capsule. You collect weapons, ammo and supplies, fight other players and armed AI, and must reach the extraction point in time to save your loot.
Standalone PC VR release instead of Deluxe Edition
The Steam version was released on Aug 1, 2026 as a separate application (Steam app 4836070). It is not an upgrade, DLC or skin pack for the still-updated Ghosts of Tabor (Steam app 1957780). English is confirmed as a language; a VR headset with motion controllers and an online connection are required. A separately sold native version with its own store listing also exists on Meta Quest.
PC requirements
Steam lists Windows 10 64-bit, Intel i5-6600K, 8 GB RAM, Nvidia RTX 2060 Super/RTX 3060, 30 GB storage and broadband internet as minimum; recommended are i7-7700K or faster, 16 GB RAM, RTX 3070 and 50 GB storage.
