HoloCozy – hololive as a relaxed desktop companion
In HoloCozy, popular members of hololive move onto your desktop as small pixel-art figures. The app runs alongside your work, studying or playing other titles. You pick a character and watch them move around their individually furnished room, rest and follow their own daily routine. Unlike in hectic building games, you don’t have to keep giving orders: the relaxed idle progress happens on the side.
Rooms, music and small breaks
At the planned launch, five hololive members should be available. There are character-specific rooms as well as shared lounges. You can view friends’ rooms, set a status and decide for yourself which information you share. Music, rain and other ambient sounds create an atmosphere for focusing or winding down. In the game center, short activities await, such as Blackjack, a memory game and the card game In-Between.
For work breaks and streams
Over time, the characters develop further, without you having to keep an eye on the game. A special streamer mode reminds you of your privacy settings before opening potentially private views. HoloCozy is a single-player desktop companion from Ninth Games and is released via the official hololive indie label holo Indie.
PC version, languages and release
The Steam version supports Windows, macOS and Linux, which are listed together here as the PC version. The updated Steam listing gives Nov 13, 2026 as the release date; an older developer press kit still says Nov 12. At launch, six interface languages are announced: English, Japanese, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Korean and Indonesian. German is currently not included.
