I Only Moved My Mouse: roguelite battles with the mouse cursor
In I Only Moved My Mouse by Missroot, your mouse cursor itself becomes the weapon: when you move the mouse, the blade follows the same path across the screen and hits any enemies it touches. There is no separate attack button. When you take your hand off the mouse, automatic control takes over and the battle carries on. This combines direct skill with an idle roguelite, where you also make progress between the active phases.
Defend the crystal against monster waves
At the center of each arena is a crystal that you must protect from attacking enemies. As the waves progress, you can choose from 40 weapons in total, including swords, hammers, scythes, flails and chakrams. In addition to your main weapon, you can equip two more weapons whose special effects trigger together. New awakening cards and special combinations create ever stronger attack chains. The game offers 13 visual themes and various enemy types.
Permanent upgrades and restarts with more power
A failed run doesn’t mean everything is lost: looted shards go into your bank and fund upgrades at the forge. Later, an Ascension system lets you exchange short-term upgrades for embers, which unlock permanent relics. Skills, equipment and certain progress are kept. You can therefore advance your character through both active sword play and longer automatic phases.
PC version, co-op and system requirements
The developer names November 6, 2026 as the planned release date on Steam. Windows, macOS and Linux are part of the shared PC version. Steam lists single-player, online co-op, LAN co-op and 29 languages for the interface, including German; full voice-over or subtitles are not announced. A free demo to try is available on the official Steam page. It is not separately sold add-on content.
