JumpBall: Tower Mode – new obstacle course
With Tower Mode, the dexterity game JumpBall gets an additional game mode. Instead of crossing a horizontal track with a rolling ball, the colorful ninja figures must climb to the top of a tower. Spikes and other obstacles await on each floor. The goal is to reach the exit of each section while collecting as many points as possible.
Normal and high jumps
Tower Mode relies on simple controls with two actions: a normal jump and a higher jump. To get past the traps, both must be used at the right moment. The new course therefore places different demands on timing than the Road Mode of the main game.
Separate add-on content for JumpBall
The expansion, released on Feb 1, 2017, is a standalone Steam DLC for the PC version of JumpBall from 2016 and requires owning that base game. The add-on supports Windows, macOS and Linux under the same Steam product ID. It is not the Tower Mode add-on of the same name for the separate sequel JumpBall 2.
