The Krater Soundtrack contains the music of the post-apocalyptic action RPG from Fatshark. The compositions draw on synthesizer sounds and the atmosphere of an imaginary film from the 1980s. Christian Gabel’s music in particular was inspired by illustrations of a decaying, futuristic Sweden.
Music from the game world
The digital music DLC combines instrumental pieces for exploration and combat with songs that can be heard in the bars of the game world. According to the official Steam description, the tracks are MP3 files in the soundtrack folder of the Krater installation. The music pack was released on Jun 12, 2012 and is part of the Collector’s Edition together with the base game and the Dr. Cerebro Pack. The soundtrack is not a standalone computer game.
