Life is Hard OST: The original soundtrack for the city-building game
The Life is Hard OST is a separately available digital music add-on for the medieval city-building strategy game Life is Hard. The album contains the original music that Vitaliy Ruzankin composed for the game world with its villages, dangers and divine powers. The soundtrack is aimed at anyone who wants to listen to the tracks independently of a play session.
Music instead of additional game mechanics
The add-on was released on Steam on Nov 5, 2015. These are music files, not a new campaign, maps, characters or buildings. The Steam product page explicitly assigns it to the base game, which is required to use the DLC. The soundtrack is also part of the Steam bundle Life is Hard with Soundtrack, which is simply a commercial package of base game and DLC.
PC and origin
The official Steam DLC app has the ID 417230 and belongs to the base game’s Steam app 414080. The publisher is Pirozhok, and the developers listed are Pirozhok Studio and Vitaliy Ruzankin. For Windows, macOS and Linux the OST remains a single PC product, so separate OS entries are not required.
