LunaReverse is a new, dark story adventure about revenge, fate and a former witch who eventually becomes a demon herself. Behind the project are CYBIRD, known for the Japanese Ikemen series, and publisher Aniplex. The game is set to release worldwide at the same time for PC via Steam and for Nintendo Switch.
A story between heaven and hell
The first official images show a silver-haired woman in front of a huge full moon. Beside her stands a mysterious, demonic-looking man while tarot cards drift through the air. The announcement hints at a tragic revenge story in which choices and the question of one’s own fate could be central to the narrative. The production team has not yet published more detailed information on characters, game mechanics or plot.
Well-known authors and distinctive character design
Producer, director and concept originator is Hiroto Kuramasu of CYBIRD. Tomomi Nakayama, who already worked on Virche Evermore: ErroR:salvation, and Ichiha of C-Garden work together on the scenario. Character design comes from Ugonba. The official announcement trailer shows the key visual and sets the dark mood; real gameplay footage has not been confirmed so far.
PC release, languages and availability
The planned PC version will be distributed via Steam. A specific release date and a standalone Steam app ID had not been announced as of the announcement on November 7, 2026. Officially confirmed are a single-player mode and Japanese, English, Simplified and Traditional Chinese. German and exact voice acting details have not yet been announced. Prices, editions, system requirements and a public Steam store page are also still open.
