Northgard Battlegrounds is a strategic city builder and auto-battler set in the Northgard universe. You build a Viking village, place buildings so that economy and army benefit each other, gather resources and combine divine blessings and Fate Cards into a build. At the end of a round, your warband automatically fights enemy clans.
The game combines solo matches with asynchronous online PvP: you plan settlement, units and synergies, while the actual battles play out as auto-battles. The spin-off is developed by Funday Games and published by Shiro Unlimited.
Northgard Battlegrounds is currently announced exclusively for PC via Steam. Early Access is planned for 2026; an exact release date has not yet been set. Accordingly, there is currently no officially released Steam key to buy. Once offers are available, when comparing prices pay attention to activation platform, region and Early Access status.
