The Original Soundtrack for Outcast – Second Contact is a separately available musical add-on for the 2017 remake of the science fiction adventure. It contains 29 pieces of music from the world of Adelpha, including the orchestral main theme and other compositions that accompany Cutter Slade’s adventures.
The music of Adelpha
The pieces are by composer Lennie Moore and were recorded with the Moscow Symphony Orchestra. They pick up the mix of epic science fiction, adventure and the culture of the Talans. The soundtrack is for listening to music and does not add missions, weapons or areas to the actual game.
Steam soundtrack, not a game version
On Steam, the original soundtrack was released on Nov 14, 2017 as a separate add-on product (App 685850). It is neither a standalone version of Outcast – Second Contact nor a replacement for the base game. In the PlayStation Digital Deluxe Edition, however, the music is listed as a package bonus, without this proving a separate native PS4 soundtrack release.
