RUNNING WITH RIFLES: EDELWEISS brings the combat of the tactical top-down shooter to the Western Front of World War II. Instead of the fictional armies of the base game, you experience two new campaigns from Allied and German perspectives. Locations range from Sicily and Normandy to Belgium and the Netherlands.
Western Front on new battlefields
Across eight additional maps, you fight for strategic objectives with period weapons, new soldier models and vehicles. Switching between attack, defence, resupply and support from AI comrades remains central. The expansion builds on RUNNING WITH RIFLES in terms of gameplay and does not replace its main campaign.
Separate DLC for PC
EDELWEISS was released on Steam on Dec 15, 2020. The PC base game is required to play. The separately available EDELWEISS Soundtrack contains the music for the expansion, but is not part of this individual DLC product.
