Sons of the Forest is a standalone survival horror game for Windows PC. Searching for a missing billionaire, you are stranded on an island with cannibals and mutants. You explore the surroundings, gather supplies and build your camp using self-processed building materials.
Seasons change the supply situation. Melee and firearms help with defense; exploration and base building are possible alone or in online co-op. The full version was released on Feb 22, 2024, after the 2023 Early Access launch. The Forest is the separate predecessor, not a required base game.
