Unwell – psychological survival horror in the depths of the mind
In Unwell you accompany Gabriel, whose life is marked by a heavy loss. At the edge of a huge well, his descent begins into a distorted world where fear, guilt and repressed memories take shape. Each level leads deeper into his mind and confronts him with other dangers and interpretations of his past.
Survival, retreat and difficult decisions
You explore oppressive locations from an isometric perspective, gather scarce resources and weigh whether to dodge threatening figures, distract them or confront them. A shelter must be secured against night attacks: closing weak points, rationing supplies and reacting in time to new threats are part of the gameplay. Choices affect Gabriel’s fate and lead to different endings.
Early Access on Steam
Anaesthetic plans the Early Access launch for Oct 30, 2026. At the start, four of nine planned main locations and eight of fourteen planned enemy types are playable. More content and improvements are expected to follow during development. A free demo can be tried independently of the main game. The current Steam page lists English and Polish as supported languages; a German localization is not currently confirmed there.
