Worms: Reinforcements is the historical expansion for the original DOS game Worms from Team17. The add-on expands the familiar turn-based battles rather than being a standalone new game or another platform version. It adds extra challenges for single players and more ways to adapt the battlefields to your own playstyle.
New challenges and multiplayer features
The additions include a challenge mode with 25 preset missions, support for custom landscapes and language packs, and network play via IPX or modem. An additional mole explosive expands the arsenal. The base game was required to play the original expansion. Later, the base game and expansion were released together in the collection Worms United; this complete version is not a standalone sequel.
