88 Heroes on PS Vita: 88 Heroes in 88 Minutes
Bitmap Bureau’s humorous pixel platformer was released on the PlayStation Vita in April 2021 as a standalone native port. Dr. H8 threatens Earth with 88 warheads, and a colourful squad of clumsy heroes must thwart his plans within 88 minutes.
Every hero plays differently
The campaign includes 88 levels across four worlds. A single section lasts at most 88 seconds. When a hero is knocked out, another character with their own abilities steps in; the order changes in the next run. Alternatively, you can limit attempts to eight favourite characters or a single hero.
Physical PS Vita release
Eastasiasoft released this port on a PS Vita game card. The limited collector’s edition also includes a manual, a soundtrack CD and a numbered certificate, but it is the same playable base version and not a separate game. The platform version supports German subtitles and seven other languages. A separate digital Vita release or native PS Vita DLCs are not confirmed.
