Neo ATLAS 1469 first released in Japan for PlayStation Vita on Oct 27, 2016. In this exploration sim, you take charge of a trading company in 15th-century Europe. You fund sea expeditions, hire admirals and send them to explore unknown coasts to create your own map of the world.
Believe or doubt: your world map takes shape
The returning captains bring back different reports. Some describe new coasts and foreign ports, others tell of sea monsters and legendary kingdoms. You decide which discoveries count as true and make it onto your map. This means the game world is not fixed but changes its shape based on the choices you make. Adventure quests, found items, puzzles and discoveries keep leading you into unknown waters.
Trade, fleets and the original Japanese version
To keep funding ever-new voyages, you trade between the opened ports and plan the equipment for your ships. The PlayStation Vita version supports only the original Japanese language and holds the CERO A rating in Japan. The content matches the standalone base game, not a DLC. Later versions for Windows PC and Nintendo Switch added technical improvements and are each listed in the catalog as their own native platform products.
