OMG HD Zombies! is the chain-reaction zombie game from Laughing Jackal, reworked specifically for PlayStation Vita. In the infested town of Redfield, a police officer must stop a horde of undead. His unusual sniper rifle makes hit zombies explode and drag other infected along with them. The right first shot can wipe out an entire street scene.
100 levels and targeted chain reactions
Across 100 branching levels spread over 40 locations, you face eight different zombie types. Each behaves differently and triggers different explosion effects when it dies. With careful planning you earn up to 400 medals, invest the money you earn in 100 upgrades and unlock further areas. 20 prestige levels, 12 trophies, leaderboards and five illustrated endings add extra replay value.
The true PS Vita remake
Laughing Jackal released the new native PS Vita version on Jun 19, 2013 in Europe. It features fully redrawn HD graphics, additional zombie classes, an extended comic intro and a choice of classic or touchscreen controls. The earlier OMG-Z from 2011 was a PSP Minis game with its own product identity, not just a backward-compatible Vita title. The later PC release in 2014 and the Switch version in 2019, by contrast, are based on the HD game.
Availability and language
The PS Vita version was originally released digitally on the PlayStation Store and is no longer regularly available in the German store. English in-game text and the comic-style look define this edition. It is listed here as a historical native PS Vita release, not as a PlayStation 4/5 version or as a PSP key.
