Saturday Morning RPG sends student Marty into a colorful parody of the cartoons and science fiction series of the 1980s. With a magic notebook, he can turn ordinary objects into absurd combat tools and has to hold his own against Commander Hood and his henchmen.
Active turn-based battles and collectible stickers
The battles combine classic role-playing turns with timed blocking and small skill actions. Collectible stickers boost Marty’s attacks and defense. The episodes lead through Shadow Valley and other lovingly parodied locations; character progress and loot carry over across chapters.
Pop culture and music
The game features pixel graphics, ironic dialogue, quirky enemies and music by Vince DiCola and Kenny Meriedeth. The later complete editions bundle five episodes, additional arena battles and an endurance battle mode.
The PlayStation Vita version
Mighty Rabbit Studios brought the game to North America on January 26, 2016, together with the PlayStation 4 version. Sony confirmed cross-buy for PS4 and PS Vita: the PS4 product entitles you to a download on both platforms. The Vita runs its own native version and is not merely PS4 Remote Play. The Vita-exclusive product code is not publicly verified; the PS4’s CUSA number is not carried over.
