Alien Breed 3: Descent – Finale of the Team17 trilogy
The alien ship and the damaged Leopold sink into the atmosphere of a planet. Chief engineer Conrad must hold out against hordes of aliens, while flooded corridors and failing systems block the last escape routes. The third Alien Breed chapter directly continues the story of Alien Breed 2: Assault.
Survival battles and co-op missions
As an isometric sci-fi shooter, the game combines ammunition scarcity with tactical movement and weapon upgrades. New features include the Project X cannon, the Electro Link weapon and short sections with a closer camera. Besides the campaign, there is a survival mode and cooperative missions for two players, including specially designed arenas.
Native PlayStation 3 version
The PS3 release came out in Europe with the PlayStation Store update on February 23, 2011. This is a standalone PlayStation Network version of the game, not a native PS4 or PS5 version. Alien Breed Trilogy, by contrast, is a commercial package of three different games, not a DLC expansion of this title.
