Devil May Cry HD Collection brings the first three parts of the demon hunter series to one console: Devil May Cry, Devil May Cry 2 and Devil May Cry 3: Dante’s Awakening Special Edition. As Dante, you fight demonic enemies with swords, firearms and combos that are as long as possible. In the second part, the playable Lucia joins; in the third, you learn the backstory of Dante’s twin brother Vergil.
Three standalone action classics in HD
The collection reworks the visual output of the games originally developed for PlayStation 2, offers achievements or trophies and includes bonus material. Different fighting styles, new weapons, challenging final bosses and additional difficulty levels provide high replay value. It is a complete game collection and not a DLC or a Deluxe Edition of a single title.
Original PlayStation 3 HD collection from 2012
Capcom released the PS3 collection in Europe on Apr 3, 2012. The reworked presentation of the three games is tailored to the console generation of the time; the PS3 version supports PlayStation trophies. It is not a native PS4 or PS5 version: a separate re-release for PS4 came in 2018. The 2012 PS3 release was also sold physically on disc.
