DLCs and expansions
Matchpoint – Tennis Championships: Career on the tennis court
The sports simulation by Torus Games and Kalypso Media focuses on tactical rallies, precise shots and building your own tennis career. You create a character, train serves, topspin, slice and volleys, and improve your ranking over the course of your career. Rivals react differently to your shot choices; clay, grass and hard courts present additional challenges.
Game modes and pros
Alongside the single-player career, there are practice sessions, challenges, local matches and online tennis. Tennis pros such as Nick Kyrgios and Kei Nishikori are included. The separately offered Legends DLC adds Tommy Haas and Tim Henman. The Legends Edition combines the base game and DLC, but is not a standalone game version.
Native PS4 version
The PS4 version was released on the German PlayStation Store on July 6, 2022. Sony also lists a native PS5 version, and buyers of the digital PS4 version get an upgrade right. Online play may require PlayStation Plus.
