A airship crash brings young Teslamancer Lumina into the northern wilderness of Wyrmheim. On her way back home, she explores a huge abandoned tower, faces mythological creatures and learns to master the forces of electromagnetism. The hand-drawn 2D game combines a Metroidvania-style adventure with physics-based puzzles.

Movement through magnetism

Attraction, repulsion, gliding and short teleports open new routes through ruins and landscapes. Skill in jumping sections and carefully used powers are just as important for progress as surviving demanding boss fights. The story is told without spoken dialogue: the environment, animations and music reveal what past Lumina’s family has with the tower.

The native PS4 version

Teslagrad 2 also released for PlayStation 4 on Apr 19, 2023 and is available there as a full single-player experience. The digital license on the German PlayStation Store covers the native PS4 and PS5 versions together; according to Sony, an already purchased PS4 license allows a digital PS5 download. The store lists twelve on-screen languages, including German, English and Norwegian. The PS4 version is not merely a PS5 backward-compatibility version.

Where the Power Pack Edition fits

The separate Teslagrad Power Pack Edition includes Teslagrad 2 together with the standalone Teslagrad Remastered. It is not a special technical version of Teslagrad 2 and does not need a further game release entry.
