The Legend of Heroes: Trails from Zero was originally released in Japan on September 30, 2010 under the title 英雄伝説 零の軌跡 (Zero no Kiseki) for the PlayStation Portable. This classic JRPG opens the Crossbell story arc of the Trails series: young police officer Lloyd Bannings returns to his home and is assigned, along with Elie MacDowell, Randy Orlando and Tio Plato, to the newly founded Special Support Section. Between everyday citizen concerns, political power struggles and organised crime, the four increasingly push against the limits of the city’s order.
The original PSP version combines exploration of the lively city of Crossbell with extensive dialogue, side quests and turn-based battles. Arts, crafts and coordinating party members open up tactical options. The original Japanese release should not be equated with the later English-language PC, PlayStation or Switch localisation.
A Steam key or a Western PSP localisation is not part of this edition. Separate PC and console listings are available for current digital versions.
