CLeM is an eerie puzzle adventure by the Spanish developer team Mango Protocol. You wake up as a small rag doll in a seemingly abandoned house. A notebook full of insect drawings and alchemical formulas provides first clues, while an unknown voice urges you to bring it puzzling things. What lies behind the instructions, and who lived in the rooms before?

Solve puzzles and reach secret rooms

You explore the building, collect objects, combine tools and craft magical toys. New abilities lead into previously locked rooms and make familiar places look different. The developers call this mix of puzzle adventure and gradual exploration “Puzzlevania”. The hand-drawn aesthetic combines cute characters with an increasingly oppressive story about manipulation, guilt and forgiveness.

Story and gameplay

Cryptic notes, unusual insects and constant new discoveries drive the story forward. The 2D look is complemented by three-dimensionally built rooms during navigation. CLeM is a single-player experience with several possible endings and belongs to the Psychotic Adventures series alongside MechaNika, Agatha Knife and Colossus Down.
