Buy FATAL FRAME Maiden of Black Water Xbox One cheap

FATAL FRAME / PROJECT ZERO: Maiden of Black Water is a Japanese horror adventure set around the legendary Mount Hikami. Yuri Kozukata, Miu Hinasaki and Ren Hojo independently search for missing people and get drawn into the dark history of a place where water and ghosts are inseparably linked. Their three storylines intertwine as the chapters progress.

Fighting ghosts with the Camera Obscura

Instead of ordinary weapons, you fend off vengeful apparitions with a supernatural camera. What matters is framing, distance and the right moment for a photo. The Camera Obscura also reveals traces that stay hidden to the naked eye. You explore abandoned inns, shrines, forest paths and flooded places, search for clues and must keep an eye on your limited resources.

The revised version from 2021

The adventure, originally released for Wii U, has been technically reworked for modern platforms: higher resolution, updated controls, additional costumes, an adjusted ghost list and the new Snapshot mode for staging scenes are among the new features. The separately available 20th Anniversary Celebration expansion adds a digital art book and six costumes from earlier series characters. The Digital Deluxe Edition already includes this additional content; it is not a separate game.

Xbox One version

The title launched on Xbox One on Oct 28, 2021. Thanks to Xbox Smart Delivery, the purchase also includes a native version optimized for Xbox Series X|S. On Xbox One you play the same single-player story with the three protagonists, the Camera Obscura and the updated gameplay systems. The 20th Anniversary DLC and the free Ryza costume are separate add-on products.
