Live by the Sword: Tactics is a turn-based fantasy tactics RPG from Labrador Studios. The story follows two brothers who want to prevent a new conflict in the kingdom after a devastating war. You put together a group of different combat figures and use their abilities in manageable battles against each other.
Five vs five with your own classes
Each battle has five units on the field. You can choose from different classes such as warrior, archer, medic, assassin, alchemist and mage. Because your characters don’t get stronger through classic experience points, the abilities you equip them with and your tactical decisions matter. Each class can only bring some of its possible actions into battle.
Game modes on Xbox One
In story mode you accompany the two brothers; in adventure mode you must face changing challenges, where a defeat can end an entire run. A special tactician mode offers combat scenarios with their own win conditions. The Xbox One version supports two people on one console or online. It is a separate native Xbox One release from October 28, 2022 and, thanks to Smart Delivery, comes with the same Microsoft Store purchase entitlement as the optimized Xbox Series version. The Series optimization status is not a property of Xbox One hardware.
