Prison Loop: spotting the anomalies in the prison

In Prison Loop, you are trapped in a strange time loop inside a high-security prison. The corridors and cells seem to repeat endlessly, but not everything stays the same. From a first-person view, you observe your surroundings, spot unsettling changes and try to escape the cycle. An ordinary prison corridor can turn into a threatening scene when objects, lighting and events are no longer as they were.

Observation over classic action

The puzzle game from Leakage Games relies on looking closely, concentration and recognizing details. You move through corridors, watch for clues and react to eerie anomalies. The dark atmosphere and surprising changes build tension without being a traditional shooter. Time repeats itself; the solution lies in learning from mistakes and observations. Because deviations are easy to miss, attention matters more than reaction speed.

Short first-person puzzler with a horror mood

The three-dimensional prison setting, metal cell doors, narrow corridors and puzzling events shape the experience. Prison Loop is especially aimed at fans of observation and anomaly games such as The Exit 8 and Platform 8. It is a single-player game with no co-op or online multiplayer. It was originally released on Steam for Windows on May 20, 2024; the console versions followed in Feb 2025 via publisher Sometimes You.

Xbox One version

On Feb 27, 2025, Sometimes You released its own Xbox One version of the game. The Microsoft Store title with product ID 9PBLF1XC32Q2 is playable on both Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, but remains the Xbox One product version. A separate, technically standalone version optimized for Series X|S is also offered with its own product ID. The store version supports single player, achievements and cloud saves; Microsoft lists PEGI 12 in Europe. The linked official publisher trailer presents both Xbox versions.
